Yungblud played a packed, high-energy show at the Union Event Center on Tuesday night, marking the third stop on the entirely sold-out North American leg of his IDOLS tour.
Fans of all ages gathered in anticipation before the British rocker stepped onstage, and by the end of the night, the crowd was sweaty, hoarse and convinced that, as he shouted repeatedly, “Rock and roll will never die… it’s coming back motherf—kers!”
Dom (short for Dominic), and known professionally as Yungblud, kicked off the night with “Hello Heaven, Hello,” strutting onto the stage in leather and shades, exuding coolness. From the start, he moved across the very front of the stage, getting as close to his adoring fans as he could, jumping around and rocking out with pure energy and charisma.

He shed his vest as he transitioned into the next few songs of the night, including “Lovesick Lullaby,” during which he yelled out, “When this beat drops I want everyone to f—king rave!” His crowd control was unmatched early on in the show, and as the bridge built up, he had the entire venue clapping along and moshing to the beat.
“Holy f—king sh*t!” he exclaimed in his thick accent, grinning wide at the crowd as he walked across the stage, “I f—king love Salt Lake City. What a f—king gig, man.”
The chaos only grew with “fleabag,” during which Yungblud invited a fan onstage to play guitar. A young woman, Ashlan, was welcomed with an embrace, and after a quick adjustment of the guitar strap, she launched into the song without hesitation. It was as if she’d been preparing for the moment her whole life.
Yungblud cheekily remarked that girls make better rockstars, to which the audience cheered in approval. Ashlan matched the band’s energy flawlessly, shredding beside the singer as he strutted and smoked across the stage.
“Are you ready to rock and roll with me?!” he shouted, diving into crowd favorite “Lowlife.” The crowd hollered in response, eagerly climbing onto each other’s shoulders at his command- much to the panic of security.
Even in the chaos, Yungblud still created moments of intimacy. One of the most powerful highlights of the night was his cover of “Changes,” by Black Sabbath, dedicated to his mentor and “dear friend” Ozzy Osbourne.

“Three weeks ago I sat with my idol and he told me to go conquer the United States,” Yungblud shared. “This one’s for you Ozzy, we f—king love you man.” The singer vowed to spend his life living up to Ozzy’s legacy, urging fans to be present and turn to each other and say “I f—king love you.”
The crowd swayed and sang along passionately with arms raised, as Yungblud looked out in admiration.
The set continued with more upbeat, thrashy tracks, including “Fire” and “Monday Murder,” before he paused to thank the audience:
“Thank you so much for being here tonight. You’re making our f—king dreams come true. This tour is f—king crazy. I don’t want to leave America, man. You guys are f—king crazy. You’re my people, man… have you got any energy left or what?!”
The night closed with an explosive pairing of “Ghosts” and “Zombie,” the crowd screaming every word until the final note.
“I will remember this night for the rest of my life,” Yungblud promised. “ Thank you so much.”
