Tory Lanez and T-Pain bring back 2000’s R&B on “Jerry Sprunger”

Tory Lanez and T-Pain team up on the new single “Jerry Sprunger” in preparation for Chixtape 5, dropping on November 15th. The song is a new rendition of the classic 2000’s anthem, “I’m Sprung”.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Chixtape series, get familiar. This is where Lanez puts on full display his singing abilities hopping on R&B throwbacks we all know and love like Pretty Ricky’s “Grind With Me” and Usher’s “U Got It Bad”.

This new entry  to the Chixtape series isn’t like any other. This is the first time that it can be played on all major streaming platforms. Chixtape I-IV can only be heard on DatPiff or SoundCloud. This is most likely due to clearance of samples, so it’s a major breakthrough for Lanez. I personally think that his best material comes out on this series. With both artist flowing so naturally and complement each other well, “Jerry Sprunger” only builds more excitement for the release this Friday. Check out my fellow Hip Hop Drip DJ Kyle Atkinson’s Chixtape 5 preview here as well.

In anticipation of Chixtape 5 here are my top ten songs from the series:
